ABOUT ME

I am Pastor Clive Salmon, and my loving wife Evangelist Nickesha Salmon, who has been with me in The M.F.C Church. I was born in Jamaica, in the District of Aberdeen, in the Parish of St. Elizabeth. I believe that I was born to win, born to serve God, and to live a life of mission with a God purpose.

“Living a life on mission” is to live on purpose, to fulfill the Great Commission, and to stand in the GAP. It reflects the heart of evangelism—reflecting Jesus and sharing the Gospel with those I come in contact with.

Systematic Theology Study

2 Timothy: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

  • Systematic Theology is what The Bible teaches about certain topic or what is true about God and his universe.

Systematic Study

  • Systematic study improve your performance.
  • Systematic study is to examine the scripture.
  • Systematic study is to look for cause and effect and to search for specific evidence.
  • Studying Theology is a spiritual activity in which we need the help of the Holy Spirit Psalm 119:18 ,1Cor 2:14 .
  • No matter how intelligent a student might be , if the student does not continue to pray for God to give him or her an understanding mind, and a believing and humble heart, and if not maintain a personal walk with the Lord, then the teachings of Scripture will be misunderstood and disbelieved, doctrine error will result , and the mind and heart of the students will not be changed for better, but for worse.
  • “Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the issues/springs of life ‘’Proverbs” 4:23).

The meaning of 12 is consider to be a perfect number and is symbolizes God’s power and authority; it also serve as a perfect governmental foundation

Christ first feed the people and produce  12 baskets,

This refers to God established the people of Israel (12 Tribe of Israel)

7 Baskets Left over

New Testament /Covenant

St Mark 8:1 – 9

7 Baskets left over

(7 Nations)  Deuteronomy 7:1 (7 Gentile Nations)

Deuteronomy 7:1  When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, (1) The Hittites, and

(2) The Girgashites, and (3) The Amorites, and (4)The Canaanites, and (5) The Perizzites, and (6) The Hivites, and (7) The Jebusites, Seven Nations Greater and Mightier than thou.

The promise land was occupied by  12 Tribe and they were competing against that 7 Nations which were the 7 Gentile Nation

The 7 Baskets and The 12 Baskets

This was Christ joining the Gentile Nation and The Hebrews Nation together with The Bread. This  is symbolic.  The Spiritual Bread, The Word, The Seven Spirit of God ; Isaiah 11:2

THE SIGNIFICANT OF SEVEN

7 Basket left over

7 is a significant number in the Bible

7 is the number of completion and perfection both physical and spiritual

7 is the foundation of God’s word it is tied to God creation

7 days of Creation

God rested on and sanctified the seventh day (Sabbath)

7 days makes a week

The bible is divided into Seven Major Divisions

(1) The law; (2) The Prophets; (3) The Writing or Psalms; (4) The Gospels and Acts ;

(5) The General Epistles; (6) The  Epistles of Paul; (7) The Book of Revelation

Spiritual Application

  • He fed The Children of Israel with Manna in the wilderness (Bread from heaven)
  • When He came to the Desert place  He fed them with bread, (This is a representative of His word (The Word is God)
  • So Christ is prompting His Apostles to “Get it” and see that the Gentiles are going to be brought into the Baskets after Three (3) days. ( Mark 8:2)  (Let us give thanks that we are in God Basket).
  • So we are God’s left over ( Remember God left over are not what left) His left over is the best, We are the remnant according to the election of GRACE and a peculiar nation of seven, complete in Christ
  • There were 7 Thousand who does not bow (Romans 11:3-5)
  • Romans 11:5 We are that remnant according to the election of Grace
  • Note: The boy gave up his meal (John 6:9 )
  • He gave it voluntarily , he gave it all
  • To serve God , Hand over everything, your time, your body, your Skill.

((A man who is not genuine studying this will use this passage to tell you to give him all your money, let us be careful of false Teachers and false Prophets)

Christ therefore (Literally after 3 days ;see St. Mark 8:2) feed the people and produce the 7 Baskets

This is God establishing the fullness of the Gentile (7 Nation in covenants with God )

  • 12 Symbolize completeness or The Nation of Israel as a whole (Jacob 12 sons )
  • 12 Tribes of Israel (The National number of the people of God
  • 12 Apostles
  • Twelve Thousand from each Tribes of Israel 12 x12  = 144,000 will receive salvation during the end time’s Great Tribulation (Rev 7)
  • In Rev 12 The Church , wear a Crown of 12 Stars
  • The New Jerusalem have 12 Gates made of gold

Romans 11:2-5

  • God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,
  • Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
  • But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
  • Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
  •

Matthew 14:15-21

15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.

18 He said, Bring them hither to me.19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.
