Final battle of Gog and Magog Rev 20:7-9

Rev 20:7-9 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them

Note: Rev 20:7 Satan Shall Be Loosed.

10. At The Close Of Christ’s Reign,(New The Millennium)Satan Will Be Released. 

(1) Satan Himself, Deceived In,Believing He Can Yet Defeat God, Will Be Allowed To Deceive Those Who Desire To Rebel Against Christ’s Rule Of Righteousness And Will Gather A Multitude Of Such Rebels Together. 

2). Gog and Magog, Derived From Ezekiel 38-39) Represent all The Nations of The World And Their spirit of rebellion against God and righteousness,

Rev 20: 8 Deceive The Nations. 

This Is The Last rebellion Against God In History. Many OfThose born during The Millennium Evidently Choose To Reject The Visible Lordship Of Christ And Choose instead Satan and His Lie. God’s Judgment Is Total Destruction And Ruin.

Final battle of Gog and Magog Rev 20:8

8) And shall go out to deceive the nations.

The nations deceived and led astray are designated as Gog and Magog. The names are derived from Ezekiel (Ezekiel Chapter 38, 39). Read Ezekiel 38:14-23.

These names were used to describe the nations who would rise against the reign of the Messiah. The names are to be understood symbolically. No particular nation could be well spoken of as “the nations in the four corners of the earth.” The origin of the name is not difficult. In Ezekiel, Gog is called the chief prince of Meshach and Tubal; or, adopting another rendering, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.

God informs Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 38:15, “You will come from your place in the far North” (the Hebrew word means “the uttermost part of the North.” north of Jerusalem? 

Moscow. north Russia? Meshech is the old name for the capital of Western Russia, which is known today as Moscow. Tubal is identified as a city in Siberia.

Gog (Russia) is the King of the North. The King of the South is an Arab-African coalition.

Magog is mentioned in Genesis 10:2-12 as one of the sons of Japheth the descendants of Noah’s sons Thename is there associated with Gomer

Cush was the father of Nimrod, who grew to be a mighty warrior on the Earth. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; that is why it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD.” The centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Erech, Akkad and Calneh in Shinar (Genesis 10:8-10).

(They built the city of Nineveh and other city, they attempted to built the tower of Bebel.

Present day they are the Akkadian, ancient region in what is now central Iraq.

“Mesopotamia” is formed from the ancient words between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, the region is now home to modern-day Iraq, Kuwait, Turkey and Syria.

 

SEE VERSE 9. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 

Rev 20:10 the devil……. The lake of fire

Satan’s Power Will Not Last Forever, For He Will Be Taken By God And Cast Forever Into The Lake Of Fire (See Is 14:9-17). There He Will Not Rule, But Will tormented Day And Night Forever.
