ABOUT ME

I am Pastor Clive Salmon, and my loving wife Evangelist Nickesha Salmon, who has been with me in The M.F.C Church. I was born in Jamaica, in the District of Aberdeen, in the Parish of St. Elizabeth. I believe that I was born to win, born to serve God, and to live a life of mission with a God purpose.

“Living a life on mission” is to live on purpose, to fulfill the Great Commission, and to stand in the GAP. It reflects the heart of evangelism—reflecting Jesus and sharing the Gospel with those I come in contact with.

Unleavened bread

The Feast of Unleavened Bread was so much a part of Passover. That the name of Passover and Unleavened  bread were used interchangeable or  almost simultaneously in St.  Luke 22:1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

The fees was to be kept seven days. Exodus 1215 to 19. The number seven is the biblical number for completion or fullness.

The believers He Keeps this fees is to keep it fully unto the Lord and set himself aside completely to him.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread speak of complete separation from all. Things that are living (sinful) and feeding upon Yahshua who is the believers bread.

St. john 6:32-36,38

32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me

(3) The  feast of Unleavened Bread,  Is a high Sabbath day.

A high Sabbath in Hebrew is called a Shabbaton.

During Passover. There is an extra Sabbath besides the weekly Sabbath. These Sabbath are called High Sabbaths, The high Sabbath of unleavened bread can be seen in John 19:31. 31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

(4) Unleavened bread  is used for consecration and separation. It is also anointed with oil. The believers in the Messiah,  Are to be consecrated and separated, to do the work God has called us to do, and to live a life that is holy to him. If we do.  The anointing of the Holy Spirit of God will rest upon our lives.

  1. the bread represent consecration.

Leviticus 8:1-2, 27-28

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;

26 And out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before the Lord, he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and upon the right shoulder:

27 And he put all upon Aaron’s hands, and upon his sons’ hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the Lord.

(b) It was included in the sacred vow of separation of the Nazarite. number 6:1-21

©  It was the food for the priest in the meal and peace offering.

Leviticus 2:1, 4, And when any will offer a meat offering unto the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:

4 And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.

It marked Israel’s divine separation from Egypt, ( the world)  life of slavery and bondage

Exodus 12:17 17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.

30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as ye have said.

32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.

33 And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.

(E ) All leavens  was to be put away.  Exodus 12:15, 19-20

When leaven  or yeast  is placed in unleavened  batch or bread,  the leaven puffed up the bread , likewise , when we allow sin into our lives, it will puff us up in pride and arrogance.
